# Commercial / OEM licensing

CyberHalluciNet is available under the [CyberHalluciNet Public Source License](LICENSE):

## What requires a paid license

Examples that typically need OEM terms:

- Shipping CyberHalluciNet (or a derivative) inside a commercial security appliance or VM/container image you sell
- Offering CyberHalluciNet as a hosted multi-tenant honeypot / deception SaaS
- Bundling the engine or Ops GUI into a commercial product for customers

## What usually does not

- Running research/lab decoys on your own infrastructure
- Evaluating or contributing to the project
- Teaching / academic use

If you are unsure, ask before shipping.

## How to buy / inquire

Contact the copyright holder for a commercial quote (OEM buy-out, term license, or support):

- Include: company name, product description, distribution model (on-prem / SaaS / appliance), approximate volume, and whether you need support or indemnification.

## Contributor note

By contributing code, you agree contributions may be relicensed under commercial terms offered by the project (see LICENSE §4). Do not contribute code you cannot license that way.

## Versioning / future terms

LICENSE §8: rights for a released version are perpetual and irrevocable for that
version; Licensor may publish future versions under different terms with advance
notice. See also README.md.

## Agentic add-ons (not a code paywall)

Under PSL-1.0 Internal Use is free — enforcement and deception code are not
feature-gated. Commercial SKUs in `docs/marketplace/per-facility-price-sheet.yaml`
price delivery, attestation, corpus subscription, OEM embedding, and assurance
(`chn-addon-agentic-*`). Enforcement never requires an online entitlement check.
